    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    • 1 cup white karo syrup
    • 1 cup condensed milk
    • 1 cup or more chopped nuts
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Put butter, sugar and brown sugar and karo into pan. Cook over low heat. After it starts to boil, boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly so it won't stick. Remove from heat, and add condensed milk. Stir in well. Put back on stove and cook until a hard ball forms in bottom of a cold glass of water. Remove from stove, and add nuts, and vanilla. Pour into a buttered pan. Cool and then cut. Wrap in cut 2x2 squares of waxed paper. Refrigerate in a plastic container.
